Ingredients
- 1 1/2 lbs fresh green beans, trimmed
- 1 1/2 tbsp extra-virgin olive oil
- 3-4 garlic cloves, minced
- 1/4 tsp sea salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1/4 tsp crushed red pepper
- 1 tsp lemon zest
- 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 425°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Rinse the green beans and pat dry.
- In a bowl, toss green beans with olive oil, garlic, salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes.
- Spread evenly on the sheet pan and roast for 15-20 minutes, tossing halfway, until tender-crisp and lightly browned.
- Sprinkle the cheese over the beans during the last 3-5 minutes of roasting, allowing it to melt slightly.
- Sprinkle lemon zest and fresh parsley before serving. Recommend serving warm.
