  3. In a bowl, mix oats, flours, nuts, cinnamon, and salt. Stir in the butter and maple syrup until crumbly. 
  4. Sprinkle the oat topping evenly over the apples. 
  5. Bake for 30-35 minutes until the topping is golden and apples are tender. 
  6. Let cool slightly before serving.
