Laura Marchetti-Schein is a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist and Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist with over 25 years of experience in the field. Her philosophy regarding food emphasizes enjoyment and nourishment, advocating for a plant-forward diet, while making room for all foods. This balanced approach reflects her holistic perspective on nutrition, highlighting the joys of eating while promoting health and well-being, as such, she collaborates with her clients to create a realistic, healthy lifestyle plan. A graduate of the University of Delaware with a B.S. in Nutrition and Dietetics, Laura further honed her expertise through the Maryland State Department of Health and Mental Hygiene dietetic internship. She has also completed a specialized Certificate in Obesity Interventions for Adults, underscoring her commitment to addressing nutrition and health challenges in persons with diabetes.

For 25 years, Laura served as the sole diabetes educator at the Jersey Shore University Medical Center’s Jane H. Booker Family Health Center. Her focus on diabetes nutrition education, in areas such as management of adult diabetes, gestational diabetes and diabetes during pregnancy, has made a significant impact in her community. She is skilled in utilizing and evaluating data from blood glucose sensors and insulin management, providing comprehensive counseling on healthy lifestyle choices alongside diabetes management.

Outside of her professional commitments, Laura enjoys various outdoor activities, including kayaking, paddle boarding, and hiking. She is also an enthusiastic pickleball player and has a passion for watercolor painting and reading.

Megan is a Registered Dietitian who specializes in a wide variety of nutritional counseling, including preventive health, chronic disease, and weight management. As a busy mother of 4, she understands the challenges of eating well, caring for a family, and trying to stay physically fit. Megan believes in the basic philosophy that wellness is achievable without deprivation and fanatical adherence to rules. Her goal is to help her clients have a positive relationship with food, eliminate diet restrictions, and find joy in eating.

Before entering private practice, Megan worked at Mt. Sinai Medical Center, Newark Beth Israel Medical Center, and Clara Maass Medical Center, where she was the Clinical Nutrition Manager. She received her BS in Biology from the University of Scranton and her MS in Clinical Nutrition from New York University.

Anna is a Registered Dietitian who works with individuals across a wide range of backgrounds and health goals to create a lifelong, healthy relationship with food. She provides a supportive, non-judgmental space where clients can explore their lived experiences, improve their relationship with their bodies, and develop realistic, individualized approaches to nutrition.

While Anna has extensive experience supporting those recovering from eating disorders, her practice also includes medical nutrition therapy for conditions such as cardiovascular disease, diabetes, reproductive health, and weight management. She works with clients to simplify complex nutrition information, cut through conflicting health messages, and create practical strategies that fit seamlessly into everyday life. Anna also has experience working with athletes, helping to optimize performance, recovery, and overall health through personalized nutrition plans.

Anna received her B.S. in Nutrition and Dietetics from the University of New Hampshire and her M.S. in Nutrition from the College of St. Elizabeth. During her undergraduate training, Anna worked in the university athletic center, where she provided personalized fueling strategies to support the performance and recovery of collegiate athletes.

She also has several years of experience in higher levels of care, including partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient programs, which informs her compassionate, client-centered approach. Her goal is to empower individuals with the knowledge and confidence to nourish their bodies in a way that supports both their physical health and overall well-being.
